Middle School Weight Training Club

When:  2 days per week in January through February when school is in session.

Exact Dates:  1/8, 1/9, 1/17, 1/22, 1/24, 1/31, 2/6, 2/8, 2/13, 2/15, 2/22, 2/27, 2/29

Time:  3:20 - 5:00 PM **Participants will have to get picked up from Champlin Park High School or ride the activity bus from Champlin Park High School (Must know activity bus number)**
Where:  Students will meet Mr. Boevers in the JMS weight room and walk over to the Champlin Park High School Weight Room
Who:  7th and 8th graders interested in football
Cost:  $75 / athlete (Dry Fit T-shirt included)
Staff:  Champlin Park High School Football Coaches, Mr. Boevers and Mr. Witt

About
Students will be introduced to skills that improve their overall physical strength and cardiovascular fitness. Emphasis will be on perfection of techniques in lifting, running, agility, and plyometrics. The program focuses on creating or enhancing explosiveness for athletes in all sports and at all levels.
